secure.wikimedia.org template is the raw, live HTML source code of a Wikimedia project portal. Changes made there are seen by millions of people within an hour – sooner to anyone who clears their browser's cache. (Note, some portals use the deployment schedule and there will be a delay until release.) Do not edit this code unless you know what you're doing, and do not edit it by hand – intelligent Scribunto modules are ready to assist you. You can experiment with the template in the sandbox. To change language names, romanizations, etc., edit Module:Project portal/wikis. Then get the attention of a Meta administrator who can deploy your changes: place an {{Edit Protected}} notice at Talk:secure.wikimedia.org template or Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat.

Administrators: Always follow the instructions on the edit page of secure.wikimedia.org template to a tee.

Different language version

[edit]

the different language versions are missing...

I don't think we can link to secure versions of the portal - right? Thunderhead 19:37, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
We can't, so we're linking to the biggest language projects now. If you have a better suggestion (like asking JeLuF to make secure portals ;-) or a pretty way to present more languages), we're all ears. Cbrown1023 talk 20:58, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

According to this discussion, you may consider changing the former Wiktionary logo into the new one. It has already changed in http://www.wikipedia.org and http://www.wikimedia.org. Thanks in advance. — Tanvir 15:16, 28 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
