Approaches[edit]

Hm w:social work, it's probably hard to find a globally-understood word with so much difference across welfare systems. I suppose "counselling" sounds too psycho and "coaching" too newage? Anyway, thanks for any volunteer; I do this work all the time, though I prefer a spontaneous/personal approach. --Nemo 13:31, 5 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

In my opinion spontaneous/personal works best and I would change the focus of this group to raise awareness of the internal social fabric, instead of trying to fix it directly. I would prefer a "Community Awareness User Group" whose members would commit to develop activities to raise our awareness as a collective. For instance the award that Sj proposed could fit into the user group scope and I think that there are many more tasks that can help to build up our community welfare.--Micru (talk) 20:36, 5 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
