Talk:Tech/News/2017/24

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

"Some wikis have the OOjs UI larger and brighter edit page buttons". Does it mean "the OOjs UI's larger and brighter edit page buttons"? As the OOjs UI is "Object-Oriented JavaScript – User Interface", a sentence "Object-Oriented JavaScript – User Interface larger and brighter edit page buttons" sounds a bit weird IMO. Maybe "larger and brighter OOjs UI edit page buttons" would make it easier to read? /Johan (WMF) (talk) 19:17, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, but not so important that should be changed. Stryn (talk) 19:24, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The meaning doesn't change, so it's not really a problem for translations, as I see it – a translation of any of the phrases that makes sense in the target language will do fine. /Johan (WMF) (talk) 19:47, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No VE meeting[edit]

The VE meeting today was canceled after the newsletter was distributed, unfortunately. /Johan (WMF) (talk) 15:06, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
