Merge with the other list?[edit]

@Nikkimaria: Hi, I suspect this recipient list ought to be merged&redirected into the pre-existing Global message delivery/Targets/Wikipedia Library, unless there's a separate issue written/adapted for Enwiki folk? Thanks! Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 00:40, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Quiddity (WMF), I don't think so - this list is for people who want to receive the newsletter, while the other is for global announcements of new sources. This one will be primarily user talk pages, the other primarily Village Pumps. Nikkimaria (talk) 00:51, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oh! Right. My mistake. Thanks for the reminder. I've added an explanatory note at the top of Global message delivery/Targets/Wikipedia Library. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 00:57, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Nikkimaria: Which usage does Global message delivery/Targets/Wikipedia Library global go with? Maybe that should be merged to one of the other two, or an explanatory note put at the top (and links made to it, from elsewhere)? Thanks again. :) Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 01:12, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Quiddity (WMF): That one is the talk pages of Wikipedia Library branches - source announcements will go to those but so will other types of announcements that wouldn't be appropriate for Village Pumps. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:25, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

How to be removed? Where is info on how to be removed? Shoud removal method be made more prominent?[edit]

I'd like to be unsubscribed to notices about Books & Bytes.

I was unable to find any directions on how to stop getting messages about new Books & Bytes. Seems like every such message should have instructions on how to stop getting more. If they're there, maybe they could be made more prominent. --Chuck Baggett (talk) 06:52, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Chuck Baggett: Sorry about the inconvenience. You shouldn't receive any more messages from us since I've unsubscribed you from the list. If in future you come across similar messages and you don't want to, all you have to do is find your name in the list and remove the whole line. Regardless, I'll make the unsubscribe option more prominent starting next time. --AVasanth (WMF) (talk) 10:48, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
