Talk:Voices under Threat

Request[edit]

I'm an enwp editor with family in Russia. I've always edited transparently under my own name, and recently added a few passages and sources to Ukraine war articles. I'm interested in guidance for the right way to abandon and perhaps disappear my old account name, user and talk page history, and -- sigh -- my self-doxing signature. I'd like to start over with a new pseudonymous account. I'm not an advanced rights holder, but am interested to learn if the process would be any different if I was. @TA710: Our page on the right to vanish would be my first suggestion 🙂 -- TNT (talk • she/her) 23:26, 11 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Guide for Wiki editors?[edit]

Do we have a guide like this for wiki editors, admins, and regional-organization leaders + organizers? What are the specific aspects of wiki work that are traceable, how should people protect themselves as their environmental risk changes? With answers to common Qs like TA's above and (anonymized) examples of difficult situations editors might find themselves in? –SJ talk  14:55, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
