This version is a bit of out-of-date if the update frequency is 2–4 weeks. And it includes "root@localhost", which seems a bit strange. --MZMcBride (talk) 03:30, 8 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi MZMcBride, I have updated the list. Apologies for the delay, we will try to keep to shedule from now. — Pajz (talk) 20:43, 20 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Filter out bots & further (semi-)automatical accounts

[edit]

The list is obviously generated by listing users with permission to edit OTRS wiki. However, it is confusing, because it contains also bots (i.e. FuzzyBot) or other (semi-)automatical accounts (i.e. MediaWiki message delivery). All such accounts should be filtered out from this list...

This probably a good idea, but why not just move them to their own Automated-user page. Mlpearc (open channel) 21:34, 23 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

WMF queues

[edit]

I have trouble believing that there are so few WMF employees in OTRS: there are dozens of non-individual @wikimedia.org addresses, most of which are supposedly going to some OTRS queues, most of which presumably have somebody following them. Moreover some queues are quite huge (e.g. the fundraising-related queues). --Nemo 09:35, 29 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Question

[edit]

Why is there a MediaWiki system user in this list? 41.200.153.72 17:47, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

I mean Abuse filter. 41.200.153.72 17:47, 16 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Semi-protected edit request on 11 July 2022

[edit]

Please remove the abuse filter from the list since its an automated account operated by the AbuseFilter extension. 105.106.76.126 22:29, 11 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Done but it may come back - perhaps Krd can check on the upstream list. — xaosflux Talk 14:09, 13 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
And if that is not "simple" we can just expand the description to explain that bots/system accounts may be included and can be ignored by readers. — xaosflux Talk 14:10, 13 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I have now updated it upstream for the system accounts I know. If there are more to remove, please let me know. --Krd 15:43, 13 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

In Persian Wikipedia, there is a page named Yasser Hamrang, which is me, and whenever I edit and correct the information, two people named Gharouni and Dexbot destroy everything, please help me. Virayeshgaredavari (talk) 14:02, 11 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
