2023 Winners[edit]

Hi all!

Apologies for the delay in notifying you of the winners! We were analyzing the campaign, and wanted to make sure that we were able to connect the celebration of your contributions with the larger campaign. We were excited that the whole campaign, including local events, included over 900 contributors and improvements to over 9000 Wikipedia articles -- as well as improvements to Wikidata, Wiktionary and Commons. You can learn more about what we are learning from the campaign here.

This year, the changes in the rules, and subsequent failure to ensure translations matched the new rules, meant that folks reported points with different inconsistencies. Part of the delay was because we had to recalculate and recheck contributions based on the updated rules in the English language original pages.
