OUR APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN WIKI LOVES AFRICA 2023

I am happy to inform members that as we earlier discussed, we have applied for the support of WMF to enable us participate in the Wiki Loves Africa 2023 programme. I am interested in your Wiki For Senior Citizens Network!

Hello, I am very interested in doing some Wikipedia projects involving Seniors. I live in Canada & I don't know of any Wiki- projects specifically involving seniors in my country. But I can see that you have run several projects for seniors in Nigeria. I understand that some Wikimedians in Chile and also the Czech republic are running programs for seniors. Yes we have done some projects and will be happy to work with you in a project. we are also aware of the senior citizens group in Chile and Czech. we are in touch with some of them. lets have your thought and see how we progress. WIKI LOVES WOMEN SheSaid CAMPAIGN 2023

As discussed, we have applied to join in the above global campaign which is taking place from October to December this year. Our application is awaiting consideration. If approved, we will be holding some edit a thons to conduct trainings on this campaign, editing in Wikiquote and a competition. --Oby Ezeilo (talk) 19:46, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

WIKI LOVES AFRICA 2024

As we all know, our participation in the Wiki Loves Africa 2023 programme was very helpful as some of our pictures were chosen in the 10 best pictures. We have also agreed in our different meetings that we will wish to also participate in the Wiki Loves Africa 2024 programme. we have therefore applied for the programme in WMF.
