Thanks for your participation during the Inspire Campaign focused on outreach to outside knowledge networks from February 2017. I'm interested in hearing your experience during the campaign, so if you're able, I invite you to complete this brief survey to describe how you contributed to the campaign and how you felt about participating. I want to improve how campaigns are run, so let me know if there's something that could be done better for next time.
Please feel free to let me know on my talk page if you have any questions about the campaign or the survey. Thanks! I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 18:34, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

[Wikipedia & Education User Group] Updates: November 2018
[edit]Greetings,
Integrating Wikimedia with education is a powerful strategy for the outreach of Wikimedia projects. Realising this concept, a group of leaders promoted this and formed the Wikipedia Education Collaborative. After some time, this evolved to become a user group, officially recognised by the Affiliations Committee in June 2018. The user group had its first board elections earlier in September. In the process to formalise activities and give a shape the user group for long-term sustainability, we are now revamping our processes. Thanks for supporting us during incubation stages, we are now inviting you to formally join the user group by following the instructions on the members' page. Being a member will allow you to be a part of this wonderful collaboration and also do interesting stuff.
Kind regards

Board elections
[edit]Hello. User:Sj and myself are group contact for the Wikimedian for Offline Wikis UserGroup. In July, our UG will participate to the vote to select the 6 people short-list of candidates. If you find the idea agreeable, you are warmly invited to share your thoughts with the group members, either on the talk page of the group or on our mailing list. Note that this is not an obligation of any sort, but simply an option to get our UG to know you better. Thank you for your interest. Anthere (talk) 18:29, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

AfroCreatives WikiProject: Invitation to be on the Jury
[edit]Dear Gina,
Let me start by thanking you for all that you do for open knowledge and for your excellent contributions to the quality of the articles that get published on Wikipedia.
It is in recognition of your deep experience on the platform and recommendation by that I would like to invite you to be a juror to the AfroCreatives WikiProject’s inaugural effort, a 3-week campaign aimed at mobilizing contributors in Rwanda, Nigeria, and Senegal to strengthen film-related content on Wikipedia. (Egypt is also part of the initiative, but its campaign was postponed until later this fall).
Now in its final week, the campaign has attracted 254 (mostly new) editors who have contributed over 70 new articles and edited over 3000 articles. 23 are contributing to the French edition of Wikipedia and 207 to the English edition.
This guide outlines what the role entails as a juror. You will of course be familiar with the Outreach Dashboard where you will be able to review all the participants and their contributions and score them using this scoresheet. We have allocated a generous 4-week period for the judging and are recruiting 3 judges per language to ensure that the jury is not overloaded.
I hope very much that we can look forward to your support and involvement in the AfroCreatives WikiProject and am on standby to address any of your questions.
If it will be useful to hop on a quick call to address any questions, please go ahead and schedule a time that is convenient for you over the coming days.
Thanks so much for your consideration; I look forward to hearing from you.

@Danidamiobi::hi Daniel,
- Thanks for contacting me. I would *love* to be a juror for the AfroCreatives WikiProject. The role & the timeline both sound realistic given my schedule. I am familiar with the Dashboard although I'm no expert.
- I will schedule a quick call for the near future.
- Looking forward,
- Gina Redwidgeon (talk) 17:02, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
