India Chapter Project

[edit]

Hi, This is a great initiative. We're happy to let you know, India has already rolled out something similar on Olympics. Would be happy to collaborate. Do check our awards specially' tree program. Please visit here. abhinav619 05:08, 6 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Great projects! France is also doing something during our first French WikiConvention. More details on this page. Pyb (talk) 12:23, 8 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
Great! I've added this contest to the page on French Wikipedia for the WikiConvention. In case you participate in these other iniciatives, you can also participate in this contest, but you have to list your articles also here. --Millars (talk) 11:08, 9 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Wikiquote

[edit]

By chance I also created an article on Wikiquote. Should those count or not? --Lord Bumbury (talk) 17:09, 9 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

The focus of this contest was Wikipedia, and not the other projects. It's a pitty but I don't know if changing that was fair for all. --Millars (talk) 21:54, 9 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Tag

[edit]

Is here any tag for articles like #WikiLovesOlympics? And another thing is that how i count bytes? Sony dandiwal (talk) 04:11, 13 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello. You can use #WikiLovesTheOlympics in social netwoks. For the second question: when you see the history of the article, you can compare the bites it had before and after your editions. I imagine that there are some tools also, but I do it in that way. --Millars (talk) 21:31, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

How to count points

[edit]

I don't understand how to count the point i.e number of bytes for an article. We'll add more articles during the paralympic edit-a- thon that will be held during the French wikiconvention in Paris (21/08). More details on this page --LaMèreVeille (talk) 08:13, 16 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

--Millars (talk) 11:50, 27 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

End of the challenge

[edit]

Hello everybody. I'll wait some days to let people update their lists. Then, I'll and other volunteers check the lists and the points and will write to the winners to collect the data and provide them their prizes. Thanks a lot for participating. I hope you have enjoyed and it is great to see how many articles about women and paralympics have been created to reduce those bias. --Millars (talk) 12:43, 20 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

The results were published in November, 2016, but I don't know if averybody knew them (all winners were contacted and they received the prizes). The final results are in this report. --Millars (talk) 12:48, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
