Approval of alternate use of funds[edit]

Hi

We have been advised to reach out to you for our request on utilisation of funds. We anticipated that there will be members flying in from various regions to participate, but as the online participation option is extended, we have no air travel to be arranged anymore. In order to make this event accessible to majority of the people living in this region, and for other unforeseen expenses like printing and postage. We request you to kindly allow us to use this money reserved for air travel to pay for the aforementioned expenses. The last minute bookings have made us miss some good offers leading to expensive services. Thank you for the update and request to reallocate the use of funds that will not be spent on the previously budget for travel. I am including Joël in the conversation as an FYI. The amount would be near about 55,000 to 60,000 INR (695 to 758 USD). The amount will be used for printing and postage as well as to support the participation of regional government representatives. -- Sangram Keshari Senapati (talk) 18:46, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Venuslui @Jtud (WMF) We request you to kindly prioritize this and share if we can go ahead with the printing as the event is starting tomorrow. For clarification, please note that we aren't asking for extra budget, we are only requesting for shuffling of budget head where we can use the extra money from one head to cover the cost of printig of tshirts printing and postage -- Chinmayee Mishra (talk) 11:29, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
