I have two remarks about this sentence: "and engage people to collect and develop educational content under a free license or in the public domain": a) it is not only educational content; how about writing free knowledge? b) the legal concept of public domain is not valid in every legislation; how about just writing "free licenses"? Thanks, --Nicole Ebber (WMDE) (talk) 18:54, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the suggestions, I added them into the English text. --Bence (talk) 22:08, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And another thing: How about adding the information that all those entities can become eligible for applying for Grants or FDC funds? I would then add the information to the German translation as well, plus the hint that WMDE also offers support via our Community Budget and Community Project Budget. I am not too sure about this one – but you might show a concrete "diff" in mind that we can compare. My thinking is that with the post being about AffCom (which itself can now endorse grants to a limited extent), adding the other funding options might be a bit off-focus and make the text a bit too complicated. (The WMF Grants programme is already mentioned in the linked guide pages. I think it would be easier to add this extra funding information there, e.g. we currently link to Grants:Index, but if there is a more general page that includes info about all different relevant grant programmes, we can link to that instead.) –Bence (talk) 22:08, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
