CEE project 2016?[edit]

Is one of the sessions envisioned specifically to yield a CEE project like this year's CEE Spring? If so, which? If not, would it perhaps be a good idea to allocate some time? (Of course, a joint project can arise out of any session, or (and perhaps especially) out of the unstructured and social time. :)) Ijon (talk) 06:59, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I was thinking that the panel session "Article contests" can summarise our experience in CEE Spring 2015 and we can discuss then future step. There is already one submission in this sense. Actually this is why I thought in an earlier phase of designing the panel sessions that the "Article contests" panel shall come immediately after the opening. Please, propose how we can change it.
I just thought that in some common place for socialization (i.e. near the food :) ), we can place a white board with sticky notes, where people can leave and neatly organize their ideas for future regional collaboration... Spiritia 07:25, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I like the idea with white board and sticky notes! But, IMHO, it should be really followed by organised session to polish the ideas. --KuboF (talk) 07:36, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Empty panel sessions past the deadline - more time needed or programme revision?[edit]

By the deadline 26 Aug, 37 submissions arrived for the panel sessions, which is, actually, less than promised, but more than I expected :) We have however, two sessions with no submission at all - External funding and GLAM issues (for which I am particularly surprised).

Does the CEE community need another couple of days in order to draft submissions on these topics, or the programme committee shall proceed to revising the programme timeframe, removing these panel sessions and reordering the rest? Spiritia 09:21, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have just (can not earlier because of personal affairs) proposed session about local funding but it shares a lot from the same session of last year. It is intended as an introduction to local funding and should be followed by session about dealing with local medium and sponsors or something similar. --KuboF (talk) 15:42, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
External funding - as a part of WMF funding for project - yes, I can speak about that, but whole project with external funding is out of question for everyone in CEE I think -- Violetova (talk) 13:57, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
"whole project with external funding is out of question for everyone in CEE" - really? See Wikimedia Polska ;)
As I see, maybe should be PEG-APG and external funding sessions merged, as the proposed sessions has overlap. --KuboF (talk) 22:26, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, you are right KuboF, I forgot about Polska :) --Violetova (talk) 19:58, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
