Talk:Wikimedia Summit 2019/Registration Information

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

The registration Google doc has 16 pages. There are many questions which need lot of thinking and some ground work before answering. Internet and power supply are not stable at many places in many countries in Global South. It is possible that the connection will be lost in between. Hence I suggest the organizers to put all those questions in the page so that we can prepare the answers in offline ( in a text file) and then do copy-paste all answers quickly before the Internet connection breaks. (This need not happen at all places, but the possibilities are there). --Pavanaja (talk) 06:04, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Another problem and that is not the first time: The registration requires a passport number and other details that one might not have ready at hand. I spend quarter of a hour filling out the form to discover I need a number that I do not have with me. This is annoying and a waste of time. I do not know what can be done about it. You might help be clearly stating the required information on the front page. — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 22:57, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
