Re: Lack of multilingualism[edit]

Although offering interpretation has become a standard in online conversations around movement strategy, this was not possible at the Summit this year due to the overall architecture of the hybrid event. - I am aware that this was one of bigger challenges and compromises made by organizers, however I would encourage future organizers to think of establishing separate EN spectra spaces: (near) native EN speakers spaces from that for the participants from language groups who understand basic English but need support when making statements. This approach could be relevant also for online only meetings, as that reduces direct clashes of often (too) many accents and levels in the same space, which is extra exhausting to follow over longer periods of time. Establishing partial support (for day intro and summary) would also be very useful modification to events that can not offer full support. --Zblace (talk) 18:22, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Re: The planning period of the Summit should not be shorter than 12 months[edit]

...we suggest that the next Summit should return to the first half of the year and happen in March / April 2024. - considering the limitations of pandemic, war conflicts and general speed of transition and development of Wikimedia, this seems more then reasonable and should be considered maybe also as new standard where 18 months is the 'norm' - No? --Zblace (talk) 18:28, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
