Talk:Wikimedians for Sustainable Development/World Water Week ISA campaign

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

sounds interesting but a lot of work... it would involve looking at images and then linking particular objects of the image to existing Wikipedia articles, is that right? How would the entered information/linkages later be used by others? FYI, SDG 6 is of great interest to me, mainly the sanitation part. I was also involved in having loads of sanitation images added to Wikimedia Commons. That's because we had about 10,000 sanitation photos in our Flickr database and then User:Fae wrote a bot to import them into Wikimedia Commons which was a great move. No it's not a lot of work at all, to create the campaign only the form below need to be filled in (and then submitted in the tool). Wikipedia isn't involved at all, the campaign only adds structured data to existing images on Wikimedia Commons. I added the sanitation category below. Tweets[edit]

We can tweet about the campaigns many times if we have variations in the message (possibly a couple of times per day spread out evenly). Please give your ideas on tweets we can use here. Ainali talkcontributions 11:35, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's a good idea.Rajeeb (talk) 15:15, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
