I suggest that collapse-bottom is not necessary, if Mediawiki detects a new section or end of page, because a new section would replace the collapse-bottom. It could be called "collapse-alone" or whatever we want. Best wishes.--BoldLuis (talk) 11:41, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You're wrong about sections (a new section does not terminate the collapse, which also requires specific tags), and the these templates can be used only in the middle of a section (including in the middle of thread on a talk page).

Even the documentation subpage requires the collapse bottom !
