Sister project categories

Would it be possible to add "cross wiki category" functionality to the template, e.g. so that the code string {{User autopatrolled|wcode=species}} would automatically also list the user in the Autopatroller category in Wikispecies (and similarly for the other Wikimedia projects)? As an example Wikispecies at the moment have 197 members in the "Autopatrolled" user group, but as a result of this and similar templates only 47 of them are listed in the Autopatrollers' category. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 09:46, 2 October 2017 (UTC).
