Hello, everyone. I am Codename Noreste and I fight vandalism, spam, and sometimes long-term abusers on all projects. I am a member of the Small Wiki Monitoring Team, and my home wiki is on the English Wikipedia where I am a pending changes reviewer and a rollbacker.
I am also active on several test wikis, including The Test Wiki; I go there under the same name.
Who are you, and what do you do?[edit]
In reality, I'm a dude attending college. On Wikimedia, the section above says what I do.
I previously edited under the username 64andtim on this account, and you may call me Codename, Noreste, Codename Noreste, or CN. Any accounts whose names start with Codename aren't likely going to be operated by me.
Local and cross-wiki counter-vandalism/spam[edit]
I am a rollbacker on the Simple English and Spanish Wikipedias, and a patroller on Meta. As nature calls me, I do make sure to defend other projects from vandalism, spam, abuse and/or harassment, which involves viewing the Meta-Wiki abuse log, and sometimes I use SWViewer to watch for unconstructive edits (and occasionally on enwiki).
As for LTAs, I know some of them and their behavior, and for that reason, I try to deny recognition to them while simultaneously reverting and ignoring them. For specific ones, I report their socks to SRG when possible.
Speedy deletions[edit]
I tag promotional and/or spammy pages for deletion using TwinkleGlobal's CSD module, and also for pages that contain obvious vandalism.
Abuse filters[edit]
I help out with false positives on abuse filters on the English Wikipedia, the Spanish Wikipedia, and the Simple English Wikipedia. Currently, I am not an abuse filter helper since that's a very high trust role, but I have basic knowledge of both regular expressions and filter syntax.
Translations[edit]
I translate pages from English to Spanish, and sometimes the other way around (Spanish to English) whenever possible. For the same reason, I have an account on translatewiki.net.

I only operate an alternative account, Códigonombre Alguien (talk · contribs), which is used to edit on public computers, unsecure networks and/or when my main account could have the potential be compromised. For security purposes, I have enabled two-factor authentication on my main account.
