About me

I was born in a Punjabi family in India in the year 1993. I love travelling, learning languages and photography. I speak Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, English and a little bit of French and Spanish. I support free knowledge and I have been involved in various projects other than Wikimedia.

I am currently doing my research on Punjabi cinema at the University of Delhi.

My work

Currently, I am working as Community Outreach Coordinator (India) and I work as a part of the New Readers program.

Previously, I was working as a Strategy Coordinator and my job was to facilitate discussions with the Hindi Wikimedia community as a part of 2017 Wikimedia Movement Strategy Discussion.

I have been on Wikipedia as a volunteer since 2009. I am one of the founding members of Punjabi Wikimedians User Group. I am a member of the Affiliations Committee and the Language committee since January 2017. I have been working to promote Wikipedia and other projects in India and surrounding countries. I was the program leader in WikiConference India 2016.
