[edit]Hello Andres, we do not yet have the welcome template in Estonian, only Finnish. You can find it at template:welcome/fi, if You wish You could create one in Estonian too at template:welcome/et (that would be great :) )

Request for Review and Assistance Regarding Block on Estonian Wikipedia
[edit]Hello @Andres, I hope you are doing well.
I am writing to bring to your attention a situation concerning my recent block on Estonian Wikipedia by Taivo, which I believe may warrant your review.
I was surprised to find that I have been partially blocked with the reason stated as “importing problems from other projects into Estonian Wikipedia.” The block began on 18 March 2026 at 16:21 and is set as indefinite. What made this action particularly concerning to me is that I did not receive any prior warning or temporary block beforehand.
To the best of my knowledge, I have not violated any Wikipedia policies, nor have I engaged in vandalism, disruptive behavior, or any inappropriate activity. My only edits were three messages on Taivo’s talk page, written solely in an attempt to communicate with him, especially since I am currently unable to use my talk page on Wikimedia Commons.
I fully understand and respect the importance of maintaining order and enforcing policies, and I appreciate the efforts made by administrators in this regard. However, I respectfully believe that this action may have been disproportionate, or possibly based on a misunderstanding. The reason provided does not seem to accurately reflect my actions, particularly considering that Wikimedia projects are interconnected, and communication across them can sometimes be necessary.
I also reached out via Meta, as it is the central platform for coordination among Wikimedia projects, in an effort to resolve the matter appropriately.
I am sharing this with you in good faith, hoping for a fair review of the situation. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or assistance you may be able to offer.

- It seems that you were blocked only on Taivo's userpage. You probably didn't violate any rule. Taivo just doesn't want to communicate with you on that page. I posted a question about that to Taivo. Andres (talk) 07:33, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
