Hello, user:Vusal, has created thousands of empty or inefficient pages like this http://az.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdullah_G%C3%BCnday in azeri wikipedia. Most of these short articles are listed here http://az.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kateqoriya:Az%C9%99rbaycan_Kinosu-%C5%9E%C9%99xsl%C9%99r. Besides this he uploaded hundreds of unlicenced images. I demand that these pages be deleted. --Uannis 17:59, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, In the Azerbaijani Wikipedia there are too many empty files that reach 7.000-8.000. Too many of these empty files just have empty templates and empty titles. These files can not be erased. So I eant someone which is from Meta to erase them. Thank you! [1] and [2] --Uannis 00:02, 3 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Changed usage for {{closed}}

[edit]

Hello Dbl2010. At some point you used {{closed}} with the "text" parameter (ie, {{closed|text=Rogue deletion omg. ~~~~}}). This will no longer work correctly in the future, because the "text" parameter will contain the entire discussion (to wrap it in a coloured box). Instead, please use {{closed|Summary}} or {{closed|1=Summary}} (for complex summaries). Thanks. —{admin} Pathoschild 00:13:55, 05 February 2008 (UTC)

#wikimedia-stewards

[edit]

Dungodung suggested that I ask you to add me to the access list on the steward channel, that way when I do my archiving it doesn't spam the poor channel. :) ~Kylu (u|t) 04:15, 10 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Help to locate a Turkish literature expert?

[edit]

Hi, the en.WP article Turkish literature has been at Featured Article Review for more than a month, and looks like being demoted for want of citations. This is a pity, since the article has merit in some ways (it's well written).

Do you know of anyone on en.WP or the Turkish WP who would be well-placed to go through the article and insert citations? If you don't, are you able to post a note somewhere at the Turkish WP? I have no idea where.

Thank you for your time. Tony1 11:35, 15 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

Hello Dbl2010,

My name is Joris Darlington Quarshie, and I am an Outreach Facilitator for the Capacity Exchange (CapX) — a platform for finding and connecting with peers to exchange knowledge and skills on a global level.

CapX is a community-built tool, designed by and for the Wikimedia Movement, to make it easier for Wikimedians across the world to find and connect, collaborate, and exchange skills and knowledge with peers.

If you don't know it yet, I invite you to access capx.toolforge.org and create your user profile with your Wikimedia account. But, if you already have a profile, I invite you to check out the new features and possibilities we just launched. I am sure you will be delighted.

CapX's new version incorporates valuable community feedback gathered over the past months, including the Organization Profile - a feature for Wikimedia affiliates, initiatives, or community groups to create their own CapX presence (see here how to create yours).
