This is the talk page for DeirgeDel (previously known as Deirge Ó Dhaoinebeaga). It is also the place to ask questions about DeirgeBot. Please add new toplcs to the bottom of the page.

Do not remove other people's comments

[edit]

You have now for a second time removed other people's comments on Tech. Please stop immediately, as it is bad etiquette. You may not like or be interested in their responses, but they did respond. Izno (talk) 00:51, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

@{Izno: Just noticed this and I apologize. I must have mmade a mistake and it is unintentionaal and I would totally pull other people up for doing so. I'll try and see what has happened. Thankyou for pointing this out. -- DeirgeDel tac 04:31, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Bawolff and AKlapper (WMF): I'd like to sincerely apologise for my careless removal of your comments at Special:Diff/24568745 & Special:Diff/24557313 and to Izno for pointing it out. Also for missing your responses on the 13 and 15 of February. I need to own that mistake and try to understand how it happened. I know I habitually do a lot examining of source code of prior revisions and that might have happened here, and I'm also wondering if the Browser settings for Brave that DeirgeDel uses which are set to restore after closure might be a contributor. I'm mainly worried that I've developed a practice that might cause me to do this again and that I'm simply overconfident that my edit was good. Apologies again. -- DeirgeDel tac 05:10, 17 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Updates from Capacity Exchange (CapX)!

[edit]

Hello DeirgeDel,

My name is Joris Darlington Quarshie, and I am an Outreach Facilitator for the Capacity Exchange (CapX) — a platform for finding and connecting with peers to exchange knowledge and skills on a global level.

CapX is a community-built tool, designed by and for the Wikimedia Movement, to make it easier for Wikimedians across the world to find and connect, collaborate, and exchange skills and knowledge with peers.

If you don't know it yet, I invite you to access capx.toolforge.org and create your user profile with your Wikimedia account. But, if you already have a profile, I invite you to check out the new features and possibilities we just launched. I am sure you will be delighted.

CapX's new version incorporates valuable community feedback gathered over the past months, including the Organization Profile - a feature for Wikimedia affiliates, initiatives, or community groups to create their own CapX presence (see here how to create yours).

Click to log in using your Wikimedia unified account through authentication:
