Hello Duesentrieb. Do you still need CategoryTree-extension el, or can it be deleted? If it's still useful, it should be moved to your userspace, to a subpage of CategoryTree extension, and/or categorized. Thanks. :) —{admin} Pathoschild 01:46, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

CommonsTicker[edit]

Hallo, Duesentrieb!

Replication of s3 not running[edit]

Hi, replication of database partition s3 isn't running longer than 60 hours. Maybe someone has forgotten to start replication script? Thx. --Milda 17:33, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DaB fixed it -- Duesentrieb

Thx, but from yesterday evening (UTC) replication of s3 isn't running again, see chart. Nevertheless replication of s2 has none or few-seconds lag. --Milda 08:53, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The replication process is running, that's all I can tell you... you'll have to ask DaB. for details -- Duesentrieb 11:46, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Commons ticker on en.wikinews[edit]

Is there any chance of the wikinews ticker being restarted/fixed??--Markie 15:31, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You'll have to wait until i finish the rewrite (promised quite a while ago, but things keep changing, and my life's kind of full), or you agree to using the unstable version that is currently running on de.wikipedia. it'll create a subpage for every day, keeping page size log and making things easier to maintain (for me anyway). So, what do you say? -- Duesentrieb 20:18, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I would be interested in running the same version as on de.'pedia but i have started a discussion to see what the community consensus is and will get back to you soon. Thanks for the reply. --Markie 22:02, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There have been no objections to the restarting of the the Beta version bot so if you could restart/configure it soon then that would be appriciated. However could you also notify me on my talk page as well before or when restarting the bot. Many thanks --Markie 19:02, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for restarting it. Just out of interest how often does it update (the tagging, deletions etc)?--Markie 13:12, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

CommonsTicker runs every four hours. Note that some of the events reported are subject to toolserver replication lag, while others are not. This may cause new entries to be added only hourse or days after they happened. Right now, whe have > 7 hours replication lag for the s2 master (large wikis without en:wp), and more than two days for the s3 cluster (the rest, except en:wp). Not sure which cluster en:news is on. -- Duesentrieb 19:46, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks for all your help. --Markie 20:26, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

re: CategoryTree[edit]

I finally found your message; lately I'm on mediawiki: more often than here. The main reason reason I waited as long as I did to commit my changes was so I could try to get it to work in that mode, too. But that seems a lot more complicated, and more likely to break other things; so I checked in the version that was working well for me on a local wiki before they forked too much. Thanks for incorporating the feature -Sanbeg 16:46, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

b:is:CommonsTicker[edit]

Hi. I finished the first few steps for setting up a CommonsTicker on is.wikibooks. When you have time, could you "Create an account for the bot" --Steinninn 13:31, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm confusing the projects. I meant to say is.wikiquote. Anyway, is.wikibooks and is.wiktionary are ready as well. --Steinninn 15:30, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Grouping[edit]

The stats page has gotten less useful due to the sheer number of files and hits wikiminiatlas gets. Do you think you could group it such that we get to see more of the other projects? —138.89.184.23 16:38, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your rename request on the English Wikipedia[edit]

You have recently requested that your account on the English Wikipedia be renamed to that reserved for your global login. I (or another bureaucrat) was unable to complete this request due to bug 13507. It is now possible for a steward to undo the unification of your login, which will allow this rename to be performed. You can then once again unify your global login once any local renames you need are completed. If you still want me to rename you on the English Wikipedia, please request that your global account is deleted at m:SR/SUL, and (once this has been done) let me know either by commenting on your request or leaving me a note on my enwiki talkpage. If you no longer want that account renamed, could you also get in touch so I know that you don't need me to take any further action. WjBscribe 18:07, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for the info, request posted -- Duesentrieb 20:44, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. If you clearly mark User:Duesentrieb/CommonsTicker as outdated/non-working, it would be much easier for users on about 40 projects (see interwikis e.g. at simple:Wikipedia:CommonsTicker) to mark corresponding project pages as outdated. Thank you. -AlexSm 17:17, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RSS extension licensing[edit]

Since you are one of the authors of Extension:RSS i would like to hear your comment about User_talk:Mutante#RSS_Extension_Licensing. What would you license it under? Because they want to package it into Fedora. Greets, Mutante 13:28, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bot request[edit]

Hi, habe gerade einen Bot request gestellt. Steward_requests/Bot_status#DBpedia-Bot.40DBpedia. Bist Du selbst Admin? SebastianHellmann 22:40, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo. Was soll der bot denn tun?
Also Hauptnutzen SebastianHellmann 11:57, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
-- Duesentrieb 12:06, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Kannst Du da was machen.
SebastianHellmann 12:31, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Vielleicht auch in der Form von Statistiken:
Wir haben auch hier mal was zusammengetragen: Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/infobox_template_coherence#Demonstration_of_Benefits_for_Wikipedians SebastianHellmann 15:28, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of deletion[edit]

Hello, one of more of your subpages was nominated for deletion at Requests for deletion. A consensus was reached to delete the pages, after a notice was given to the user in whose userspace the pages reside. Unless I hear from you, I intend to delete these pages on Thursday, 28 July 2011. If you with to move them to Mediawiki.org, please do so. If, in the future, you desire to move the pages to that website, I will be happy to restore them to facilitate that. Thank you for your understanding. Courcelles 04:38, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could you create a new tool?[edit]

Hi Duesentrieb,

I'm Erasmo Barresi and the project where I mainly work is the Italian Wikisource. I noticed that you created the tool Gallery on Toolserver. Could you create a new tool, similar to this, for listing Italian Wikisource texts? If you'd like, please leave me a message on my talk page and I'll describe you my idea more precisely. Thanks in advance.--Erasmo Barresi (talk) 10:14, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WikiSense Contributors[edit]

Dear Sir,

This morning I noticed the website http://tools.wmflabs.org/wikisense/Contributors.php?wikilang=en&wikifam=.wikipedia.org&grouped=on&page=Wikipedia is down.

Is it permanently down or just a temporary outage? Thank you so much!

Best,

RB

Yes, now it seems to have been replaced by this CatScan form which is very hard to understand, and does not appear to include a way to obtain the List of Contributors. There is a discussion at the Village pump which says that you are in charge of that tool. So please - can we have the List of Contributors back soon? It was very useful to find out who are the main contributors to an article.
Dirac66 (14Jun2014)
I feel the same as my colleagues here. Please resuscitate the List of Contributors tool. We (I come from the Hebrew Wikipedia, but there are lots of people from other projects) find it very useful. Thanks in advance, Ldorfman (talk) 23:40, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tool for Page →History → Contributors[edit]

This looked like it was being migrated to Labs, and then something strange looking replaced it. It's invaluable. Can you please migrate this one over to Labs? Thank you for your work. Maile66 (talk) 22:18, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It also says to blame you. The contributors list is useful. Hawkeye7 (talk) 22:16, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
