Letter petitioning WMF to reverse recent decitions
[edit]The Wikimedia Foundation recently created a new feature, "superprotect" status. The purpose is to prevent pages from being edited by elected administrators -- but permitting WMF staff to edit them. It has been put to use in only one case: to protect the deployment of the Media Viewer software on German Wikipedia, in defiance of a clear decision of that community to disable the feature by default, unless users decide to enable it.
If you oppose these actions, please add your name to this letter. If you know non-Wikimedians who support our vision for the free sharing of knowledge, and would like to add their names to the list, please ask them to sign an identical version of the letter on change.org.
I'm notifying you because you participated in one of several relevant discussions. -Pete F (talk) 22:07, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
Xtools
[edit]Moin. Betr. Hedonil/XTools.
-jkb- 20:47, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
Message for you

Global CSS/JS migration
[edit]Hello Hedonil. Since August 2014, your global.js is loaded automatically on all wikis. I noticed you load XTools.js on several wikis; do you want me to move it into your global.js and delete the local scripts using Synchbot (without touching other scripts)? —Pathoschild 23:07, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
- Hi again! I haven't heard back from you, so I'll assume you don't want to do this. Feel free to add a Synchbot request or leave me a message if do want me to take care of it. :) —Pathoschild 16:46, 09 January 2016 (UTC)
Xtools
[edit]Hi, if you still exist, or still edit anywhere on wikimedia, could you be kind enough to reply to almost a year of requests to ressurect or repair the x tool app.
If you still read this page after all this time, it would be good to even get a clarification that you are not returning, or not working on that particular tool again.
Dank u, thank you, shukran, spaseeba, whatever :JarrahTree (talk) 01:10, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
