Getting paid for e.g. consulting on how to set up a wiki for another non-profit may be fine (or not, depending on your country's interpretation of what non-profit means), but getting paid for writing articles to benefit some organization (e.g. your country's ministry of tourism, or your city council, or a local politician), is definitely not.
