Hi again, please see the criteria that you should have had the admin rights for at least three months. You have been an admin since 20 December 2015, so it's just over 1 month. Unfortunately you don't meet the needed criterias. I disqualified you as part of my membership on the Election Committee. I’m Erick Guan, the coordinator of WAM 2017. Welcome to Wikipedia Asian Month 2017. Here is some information about organizations of events at a national level.

Timeline

The event lasts a month for the participants. As of the beginning of the event, please:

• Invite previous participants to join. We have a template you may want to use.
• Setup your WAM page in your local wikiproject if you haven’t done that.
• Link your WAM page at Wikipedia Asian Month 2017. It’s important for others to understand and connect to your community! Remove the X when you done that. WAM is organized at national level. So I have to ask you to put your country in front of your name if you haven’t done that.
• Publish a notification about WAM in site notice as well as village pump. Go public!
• Connect with us. Generally send me an email so that we can reach you for future information!
• Become the jury member in a campaign on Fountain which is an amazing tool for you to supervise participants’ articles. If you don’t have the campaign set up, please contact us! And put a link to your community’s campaign page for participants’ navigation.
• Organize a off-site editathon event. A coffee bar, internet and laptops. Though it’s optional. If you want to do that, please contact me.

In the following days, you should answer the questions from your community and supervise the submissions. Hope you have fun!

• Nominations are extended until 12 January 2018.
• Candidates will be lightly vetted by the Founding Members (excluding those who are candidates) to help form a well-functioning committee.
• Vetting will happen from the 13th up to 21 January 2018.
• Voting will begin on the 22nd of January and end on the 4th of February.
• To be able to vote, editors must have joined the usergroup before the 21st of January.

What's new from the Wikimedia and Libraries User Group

We are now officially known as the Wikimedia and Libraries User Group (previously, Wikipedia Library User Group). New group contacts are User:Merrilee and User:Sodapopinski7. Wikimedia and Libraries User Group Steering Committee Election Voting Phase

Hello JogiAsad! We are happy to announce that the steering committee election 2019 is now open for voting. Because you have joined the user group before 28 February 2019, you are eligible to vote. Not unlike last year, you can vote support for multiple candidates, at most one support for each candidate. Also, oppose votes are not allowed, but discussions are welcome on the talk page.
