@Michel Bakni on the WikiForHumanRights_Challenge page is the word "challenge" in the meaning of a large and complex problem (the first meaning https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/challenge) or is it an Internet challenge (like the :w:en:Ice Bucket Challenge)? Enquête usage Wikipédia, arabe

Bonjour @Michel Bakni, je vous contacte car j'anime une enquête internationale sur les usages et usagers de Wikipédia (contributeurs et lecteurs). Nous souhaitons faire cette enquête en plusieurs langues, dont l'arabe si c'est possible et nous aimerions avoir vos retours - nous ne parlons pas arable, j'ai fait une traduction avec google translate du questionnaire, mais évidemment, c'est plein de fautes! Avant de contacter la communauté, je veux m'assurer que le questionnaire est correct (j'ai une amie qui devrait le vérifier, mais cela avance doucement).

La présentation de l'enquête est ici, avec notamment le lien vers le questionnaire en "arabe". La version texte est ici, si quelqu'un souhaite faire des modifications.

I am a long-time admin in Arabic Wikipedia, I know exactly how the ping works.

The reason behind the revert is that there was an ongoing case U4C members were looking into. This might have been seen as an attempt to influence the committee, which is something I did not want to.

That is why I started the Local discussion exactly after the decision was made.

That makes sense for the revert. It doesn't make as much sense to for why the edit, the edit summary, and the editor was revision deleted. I thought that it was probably not known that a u4c member could see it even with that which is why I left my note to inform you. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 12:43, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
