Block

It is unfortunate that we do not have a sockpuppet policy, but some action needs to be taken. Lovy and Anunad are each only blocked for 3 months. Krant has warnings as has Vyom. If there is substantiated suspicion of sockpuppetry, it should be investigated and I will block accounts. Since this is a public IP, I have unblocked the IP itself. Thank you for your message. Actually, I noted precisely this in chaupal. What seems to be happening is identity hijack or identity sharing. The user is ripping-off real people's names and building fake personas OR multiple people are allowing a single user to operate their accounts. If you look at the personas, they are done in similar styles and detail with some attempt at obfuscation. If you read the actual offline people's work, there are significant stylistic differences from what appears on Hiwiki. On top of that, there are patterns of activity and inactivity which are indicative of them being the same person. I have no desire to be activist but have no choice either. Anunad has not been blocked because of copyvio but because of a systemic pattern of (often racial) abuse and personal attacks. He came super-close to being blocked in July 2012 and was given one last chance. He was restrained for several months but then relapsed again. BTW is it your contention that you are not Lovy? If so, how do you explain the checkuser flag? Lovy, Anunad and Krant will be back in 3 months, you know. I appreciate your respect. --Hunnjazal (talk) 09:52, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
