Hello The spesh man!, and welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Happy editing! — Mikhailov Kusserow (talk) 00:58, 19 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Logo vote

[edit]

Why exactly was that necessary? (BTW, that count was one off, actually. I have the full stats here) --Yair rand 19:33, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

People are voting far too fast to keep accurate statistics on the voting page, and it really doesn't seem to make much sense to have it there anyway, so I've removed it. --Yair rand 20:51, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I noticed that you seem to have tried to set up the second round, but that format really won't work because it would require more translation work for all the other language versions. I suggested quite a while ago this method of having the second round: strikethrough the "first round" section in whatever language, and replace the section under "Logo candidates" with {{Wiktionary/logo/refresh/voting/round2|whatever translation of "Click here to vote" is given on the page}}. People click on the button, and add to the bottom "support" in whatever language, or "", or {{support}}, or {{Ar son}}, or whatever they want as long as it begins with # and ends in a sig. This doesn't require any translation work so I think we should use this. --Yair rand 19:52, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's probably best to wait until the second round starts in 1 hour and 45 minutes before voting, and when it does start just add "#[[File:Symbol support vote.svg|15px]] ~~~~" or something like that. Okay? --Yair rand 22:19, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Second round's started. Could you do another count of the first round votes? --Yair rand 00:03, 1 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I fail to understand what that was about. Could you explain? --Yair rand 01:51, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Voting is getting closer and closer by the minute, it will be annoying to about 95% of the people who voted for all candidates except 8 from round 1, not happy world The spesh man 02:03, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
[edit]

Since your page duplicated the efforts of Wiktionary/logo/refresh/voting, it's been deleted as such. If you want to keep track of statistics for the vote instead, you may want to consider a more accurate title for the page. If you've got any questions or comments, please let me know. Thanks!
