Mothers[edit]

'Where do you see the woman as part of a society? I think as a child, by simply helping them at home to prevent any problem and by supporting them to their decision for our own good. And if I can provide for my own needs, I am not asking them anymore. That's what I am doing for us to be okay and happy.- Ferly Salvidar , Mother All I could give to my children and my family, was to accompany my husband on his work and sell those fishes we caught. - Shirley Pesino, Mother I could sacrifice my life so that life would be better for my family and my children would grow up well. - Sheryl Joy Passaron, Mother

Teachers[edit]

'Where do you see the woman as part of a society? What I can contribute to my family is to give them a little of financial support and help them in times of trouble. I am only one call away. - Sharon Barrameda, Teacher Women can be seen as a part of a community in being a Mother. Especially when she is a mother of her community, she has a big responsibility to protect her children and make the economy of the community rise. -Romalie B. Subastil, Teacher I have been seeing women in the workforce. It is based on my everyday riding to a jeepney, everyday they are rushing to get into jeepney while wearing their uniforms at their work. Most of the passengers in the jeepney are women, back and forth. If we have seen them as a homemaker before inside the house, now aside from being a homemaker, they are also in the workforce. -Leziel Bermudo, Teacher
Sain mo nahihiling an babayi bilang parte kan sarong sosyodad? An maiaambag ko sa pamilya ko pagtatao ako nin kadiit na pinansyal saka pagtabang sa mga panahon na may problema an pamilya ko.. One call away ako para sainda. - Sharon Barrameda, Teacher, Libmanan An babaye mahihiling mo bilang parte kan sarong banwaan sa pagiging INA dae matatawaran bilang sarong Ina.

Women are part of the office, market, church, school and government. In the road, forest, ocean or even in outer space, women always have a space for them to help in community. In the simple way of helping my parents financially, by supporting their decisions, and by giving them my sympathy in times of difficulty, those are simple ways that I can say I am able to help and contribute to my family. Women can be seen as a part of a community in being a Mother. Especially when she is a mother of her community, she has a big responsibility to protect her children and make the economy of the community rise. -Romalie B. Subastil, Teacher
An babayi parte kan oficina, saudan, simbahan, eskuwelahan, asin gobyerno. Sa tinampo, bulod, kadagatan, o outer space man yan, an babayi pirming igwang espasyo tanganing sa banwaan makatabang. Writers and Social Activists[edit]

'Where do you see the woman as part of a society? Women, in general, have no fixed role in society. We, as women, refuse to be put in a box. We refuse to end up victimizing ourselves. It has to stop being the norm. Each and every woman has an individual journey to embark on and whatever or whoever they choose to become as long as it is not anchored on any forms of violence, they must be served respect, they must be heard, and they must be seen as human beings.-Shanelle Escuro, Visual Artist There's no limitation to what women can do. The truth is, we are taking the lead in different areas and this is no longer a surprise. But if a poor man is already being exploited, the greater the exploitation there is towards women. In the majority of the Philippine society that is composed of farmers, peasant women are at the forefront. We can see them in the thousands of organizations in the country, fighting for genuine agrarian reform. When it comes to workers, working women are part of the struggle for humane and sufficient wage. This is an essential role of women because the freedom of all genders is the freedom of all classes. To answer the question: a woman's place is in the struggle.- Sasah Sta. Rosa, Jovenes Anakbayan Regional Secretary Gener al / Kabataan Partylist Bicol Spox I see women in people crossing the road, dodging the passing vehicles. I see the woman among the jeepney drivers patiently waiting to gather passengers. I see the woman among those carrying cement, among those having coffee at dawn, among the drunks on the street. I see the woman in what I do every day, going on, sharing themselves, falling in love, and being loved. -Roxanne Berido, Writer
Sain mo nahihiling an babayi bilang parte kan sarong sosyodad?
Where do you see the woman as part of a society? All of parts of society, along with Malacañang. -Doods Santos, Writer My question is, how can women not be a part of a community? If they don't have participation in cultural activities? If they are not members of catholic church? If anarchist? If they are trouncing their mate or if they don't have a title or position in the highest state of society. -Edna Campana I see women as a whole part of society. We can't call a society as "Entire" if there's no women. Of course you need to be a responsible human as a member of the family to have a better life. -Maju Bihag, Student
Sain nindo nahihiling an babayi bilang parte kan sarong banwaan? -Doods Santos, Parasurat Ang hapot ko man, pano dai nagiging parte an babayi kan banwaan? -Edna Campana An babayi nahihiling ko na parte kan kagabsan nin satong sosyudad. Dai man maaapod na "entero" an sarong sosyudad kung mayong babayi. Kun mayong babayi na kabali sa pagdesisyon, trabaho, arte, asin dunong, dai man makahahangos an satong komunidad. Ibig sabihon, kulang an sosyudad na mayong babayi. Dakula an ambag nin babayi sa pagkrear nin sarong marinas, matibay, asin pinagisipang sosyudad. -Dawn Nival Ramirez , Parasurat Syempre kaipuhan mong maging sarong responsabling tao sa laog kan sarong pamilya para an pamumuhay maging maayos. - Maju Bihag, Estudyante
They are the light or happiness of a community. Because without women, there's no human in this world, they are the ones who gave birth to us, that's the reason why communities have happiness and aliveness. -Daphne Boncodin, Student Of course you need to be a responsible human as a member of the family to have a better life. -Maju Bihag, Student
Sinda sarong liwanag o kaugmahan sa sarong banwaan. Ta kung mayo an kababaehan dae magkakaigwang tao sa kinaban, sinda baga an nag aki sato, yan an ginikanan kung tano maugma saka may buhay an sarong banwaan. -Daphne Boncodin, Estudyante Syempre kaipuhan mong maging sarong responsabling tao sa laog kan sarong pamilya para an pamumuhay maging maayos. - Maju Bihag, Estudyante
