WikiLovesMuseums is a global initiative launched on the 18th of May 2020 which corresponds to the International Museum Day in order to celebrate the museums all over the world. WikiLovesMuseums is an invitation to Wikimedians all over the world to improve content about Museums and accessibility to content about museums and museums' collections.

Why?[edit]

Because Wiki Loves Museumsǃ

Projects[edit]

Makumbushoː it's an International Edit-a-thon for African Museums (Makumbusho means museums in Swahili)
Matahef (arːمتاحف) it's an International Edit-a-thon for Museums in Arabic speaking countries (Matahef means museums in Arabic)
WikiVoiceMuseumsː it's a project that aims to create voice records of wikipedia articles related to museums and collections.
