Welcome to the meta portal for Wiki Loves Children (WLC) is a global, annual campaign dedicated to enhancing the quality and reach of child-related content across Wikipedia and its sister projects. Organized as a series of community-led online edit-a-thons every November/December, the initiative empowers volunteers to create and improve articles on child safety, rights, healthcare, and development.
From its origins in the Bengali Wikimedia community to its expansion into a global framework, WLC seeks to bridge critical information gaps and revitalize platforms like Wikijunior. We invite local communities worldwide to join this movement and help build a safer, more inclusive digital world for the next generation.
