This is the page for the Flanders team in Wiki Loves Living Heritage. In this space you can write an introduction.
Flanders joins the Wiki Loves Living Heritage campaign! The initiatives in Flanders commit to raise visibility and awareness of living heritage and to encourage collaboration among the wikimedia community and the many concerned heritage communities, organisations, etc.
With 3 action lines, we will bring intangible heritage into the Wikimedia platforms:
- Making, collecting and sharing photos and video of intangible heritage
- Writing sessions for Wikipedia pages of intangible heritage
- Wikidata of the Inventory Flanders
The campaign in Flanders is a collaboration between NGO Workshop Intangible Heritage, the Flemish Unesco Commission, and Wikimedia Belgium, and with the cooperation of the Department of Culture, Youth and Media.

These are the events organized in this country or theme. You can add a new one by adding it to Wikidata. Click on the "Add new activity" button to get started. Make sure to give the event an English label. Update the list by pressing "manually update list".
If you wish, you can create an event page to have a page on this site. It can be used to enroll participants and it can have more tools, such as topic lists for Wikipedia editing, translations, or media uploads.
This list is generated from data in Wikidata and is periodically updated by a bot.
Edits made within the list area will be removed on the next update!

Follow these steps to add a participating organization
- Make sure they are added to Wikidata first. Use the button below to add a new organization.
- Add the organization to the box below by editing it. Hit the edit link above.
- Click on the box and hit the edit button.
- Insert the QID in the opening dialogue to the end of the list and save.
Participating people[edit]
Express your interest in joining the activities or make sure you can be contacted.
Add your name or Wikimedia signature: Hit the edit link next to the header above. Add a new row if necessary and add your Wikimedia signature by adding four tildes (~~~~) or select in the menu: Inset > More > Your signature. If you don't have a Wikimedia account, add your name and some way of contacting you.
Add interests: Add any information about activities that you can help arrange.
