Connect locally
Together with the local organizations and communities you can raise awareness of the heritage elements in your region online. If you are part of a heritage community, safeguarding organization or Wikimedia affiliate, get together and see what you can do together!
Check out the contacts page to find your local contacts or contact us to get started with the introductions. You can also find answers to common questions of focal points and Wikimedia affiliates.
Start organizing
You can choose the way to work together and the schedule that best suits you. Here's a list of ideas for activities, you can also add your ideas to the list.
Once you are ready to start organizing activities, create a space for your local or thematic team on these pages. Add activities and information, and prepare to showcase your activities online.
Help making more living heritage visible online
The heritage elements can be made visible by adding basic information about them in Wikidata. Can you help make available necessary pieces of information in your country?
Participate on Wikimedia projects
You can already start working with the existing data about the living heritage elements. Browse the heritage elements and enrich their data on Wikidata: translate their labels and descriptions, link to other existing data or add images.
