What needs are you requesting funding for to support your community’s participation at Wikimania? Please review following eligible activities and expenses below, and write below any that will be included in your activities.
- Childcare services (or similar family services) to support Wikimania participation
- Data packages to distribute to Wikimania participants
- Administrative or operational costs for to distribute funds to community members, such as transfer fees
- Small hardware expenses to support access (such as webcams, microphones, head/earphones)
- Note: Requests for computers, laptops, tablets, and other personal devices are not eligible.
- Translation services for a Wikimania session
- Video production support for pre-recorded Wikimania sessions (such as equipment or space)
- In-person meetups that coincide with Wikimania activities (food, beverage, meeting space)
- Post-Wikimania meetups resulting from having attended Wikimania (food, beverage, meeting space)
- Small hardware expenses
- In-person meetups during Wikimania
- Take out lunch packages to support Wikimania participation
- Childcare and family services to support Wikimania participation
- Quiet viewing space (support for people who don't have good participation conditions in their homes)
- Data packages
- Graphic design for promoting Wikimania participation
- Administrative and operational costs (transfer fees, accounting costs)
A big part of of the things we plan to fund are aimed at supporting female participation (lunches and childcare/family services) and making the participation easy for everyone (Wikimania events, virtual backgrounds and quiet space rental all supporting participation of people who don't have good conditions for participation at home). This way we can make Wikimania truly inclusive and use the fact that it is happening online to introduce it to the wide Polish community.
If you are requesting more than 1000 USD to distribute to your community, please provide additional detail on how you will distribute these funds.

Outcomes[edit]
Please provide a range or estimate for the number of participants the funding will support. It is OK if this is estimate is based on limited information, but we want to have an idea of how your activities will support community participation in Wikimania. Some examples:
- 3-5 participants will receive childcare support to support their participation at Wikimania.
- 10 participants will receive hardware support
- 1-2 post-Wikimania meetups will be funded
- 10-20 participants will receive data packages to support their participation at Wikimania
- 10 participants will receive small hardware support
- we will fund access to quiet spaces for participation for 2-5 people
- 3 Wikimania events will be funded (each for about 10 people)
- 10 participants will receive lunches to support participation
- 10-15 participants will receive data packages for Wikimania participation
- 4 people will receive care for dependent family member
- Up to 20 people will use virtual backrounds and other Wikimania-related digital graphic design
