What Wikimedia movement affiliate do you represent?
How will the funding requested support your community’s participation at Wikimania?
Please review following eligible activities and expenses below, and write below any that will be included in your activities.
- Childcare services (or similar family services) to support Wikimania participation
- Data packages to distribute to Wikimania participants
- Administrative or operational costs for to distribute funds to community members, such as transfer fees
- Small hardware expenses to support access (such as webcams, microphones, head/earphones)
- Note: Requests for computers, laptops, tablets, and other personal devices are not eligible.
- Translation services for a Wikimania session
- Video production support for pre-recorded Wikimania sessions (such as equipment or space)
- In-person meetups that coincide with Wikimania activities (food, beverage, meeting space)
- Printed artwork, conference swag/merchandise for event participants
The Nigerian Commons Photographers User Group will like to support their members to attend the 2022 Wikimania as promised last year, the members have been waiting for this upcoming Wikimania as they were not opportune to attend the previous Wikimania, and they are so excited to attend this coming Wikimania to share their experience on Photography, Audio and Video Wikimedia activities, which they have actively been doing since last year.

If you are not distributing funds to community members, please write N/A below.
- The members of Nigerian Commons Photographers User Group have been informed and been asking questions on the process to participate, so a promotional message and pliers will be shared in other to notify them about the process of participating.
- A doc will be shared for the members that are in need of data support, women will be given special consideration since they constitute large number of our members.
- We will also like to give special consideration to diverse community across Nigeria, because the User Group accumulate people from all over the country.
Collaboration With Hausa Wikimedians User Group[edit]
The Nigerian Commons Photographers User group will and continued to collaborate with Hausa Wikimedians User group in all its endeavors and Including Specifically Wikimania and Wikimania 2022.
The collaboration in response to Wikimania 2022 maybe as follows.
1. We will be inviting the hausa Wikimedians Usergroup to our events in other to open room to share experience and skills.
2. We will also honor their invitation.
3.we will share experience interns of event planning, gathering people and reaching successful program.
4.we will create an avenue that will lead to sharing experience for future occurrences.
5. We will make sure to arrange a convenient date for the event, so as representative form Hausa WUG can and will be able to attend our event for experience sharing and presentation.
- And Yes, We Think the collaboration will be long term as we will be InTouch to share experience from both parties. In other to collectively engaged our members and the overall Achievement of Wikimedia Foundation.
- And lastly it's indeed a Yes, the collaboration will be beneficial to both parties, it's members and the Wikimedia movement at large. This is because the collaboration will bring about sharing experience, putting more experience users in a room with the less experience ones. And also coming together as a whole body with a single goal of achievement to move the ecosystem to the next level of it's realizing it's mission and vision towards 2030 strategically.
Outcomes[edit]

It is OK if this is estimate is based on limited information, but we want to have an idea of how your activities will support community participation in Wikimania.
Some examples:
- 3-5 participants will receive childcare support to support their participation at Wikimania.
- 10 participants will receive hardware support
- 10-20 participants will receive data packages to support their participation at Wikimania
- 30 to 40 people will receive hardware support accros the country.
- 40 to 50 people will receive data packages to support their participation in the Wikimania 2022.
