Summary
[edit]In the course of working in and with Wikimedia communities, some patterns (and anti-patterns) are discernible in the behavior and character of volunteer leaders. This presentation will present some of those patterns, and discuss how they evolve and what might be done to reinforce positive patterns and mitigate negative ones.
Expected outcomes
[edit]Participants will gain the realization that some observed phenomena in their local community are not unique or shameful. :) Ideally, some new ideas on how to resolve community and leadership tensions.
