On 28 of February the community had the monthly meeting to discuss about incoming activities.

National Film Center collaboration[edit]

On 15th of February we signed the agreement with National Film Center which consists in a partnership where wikimedians improve articles related to Albanian Films, produced by National Film Center during the years. Wiki-Filmat SQ is a series of activities and editathons (6 in total) organized as for below.

  • 15.02.2019 - Agreement signed and first editathon at National Film Center
  • 19.03.2019 @ 18:30 - Editathon at Open Labs
  • 28.03.2019 @ 18:30 - Editathon at Open Labs
  • 17.04.2019 @ 18:30 - Editathon at Open Labs
  • 24.04.2019 @ 18:30 - Editathon at Open Labs
  • 04.05.2019 @ 18:30 - Editathon at Open Labs

Tasks to do:

  • Create a category for articles: Wiki Filmat SQ
  • A page with instruction how to create an articles, and titles for missing articles. (will be done by Sidorela)
  • Request a banner to sq wikipedia. (will be done by Mariana)
  • Adding dates on metawiki.
  • Costs and expenses will be managed by Nafie
  • Printing materials. Mariana & Redon will work on this. Total budget allocated is 250Eur.
  • Outreach and posts.
  • Design images for the activity.

Qr-pedia with Korca Museum[edit]

This activity is planned on 14.04.2019. The grant is approved for the project.

To do list:

  • Design for the printed materials and the banner for the activity project.
  • Printing the materials
  • Organize for people that will go there from Tirana and bookings
  • Outreach for the activity
  • Post activity report

Newsletter publications[edit]

During February we signed the memorandum with National Film Center. Silva will work to publish it on monthly newsletters of wikimedia for GLAM news and other newsletters.

Wikimania[edit]

Wikimania is the annual conference of Wikimedia community. Calls for applications are now open. To apply for schoolarship deadline is 15.03.2019 23:59 UTC. Here is the link: https://scholarships.wikimedia.org/apply
