Year in Summary
Hydroelectric dams photo project
A two-day photo project covering hydroelectric power stations and dams, including other points of interests, was conducted with great success (thanks to the better-than-usual weather) from dawn of 24 March 2018 to late evening of 25 March 2018. User:Rehman handled the photography, while User:Azeez and User:PasinduBR handled logistics and route planning. Pasindu is a volunteer and prospective Wikimedian who helped arrange the vehicle and handled all +570km of driving.
The project was done on a strict budget of LKR 22,000, so as to utilise the balance funds of the Global Voices project from the previous fiscal year.
