Wikimedia MKD/Strategic plan 2024-2028

Wikimedia MKD’s 2024-2028 Strategic Plan outlines the main strategic goals of the organization for the given timeline period. Moreover, it provides an overview of the scope of the programmes and activities organized and supported by Wikimedia MKD.

Development

This plan is prepared as a collaboration process of the members of Wikimedia MKD. The plan covers the proposals, expectations and needs of our community members related to the general Wikimedia Movement within the Macedonian Wiki Community. As an upgrade of the previous Strategic Plan of GLAM Macedonia (2022-2025) and Strategic Plan of Shared Knowledge (2021-2025), this plan expands the scope and goals of the community.

The strategic direction revolves around two main ideas:

Knowledge as a Service: delivering free and secure knowledge to the world through interfaces and communities; and using tools that help partner organizations in this process.

Equality in Knowledge: focusing efforts on knowledge and communities marginalized by structures of power and privilege.
