This is a report for activities performed by Wikimedians of Latvia User Group in 2021.
COVID-19 pandemic affected most of the year.
Wikipedian meetings[edit]
- During the year a single meeting involving 5 wikimedians was arranged.
Outreach events[edit]
Growth team features were enabled in Latvian Wikipedia and mentorship program was started.
Community engagement[edit]
- Article contests
- CEE Spring 2021 article contest. Mārtiņš Bruņenieks was involved in organizing the contest also on international level.
- Asian month 2021
Grants[edit]
No grants were submitted by the community.
Participation in regional and global Wikimedia events[edit]
No physical regional or global events took place.
Several users took part in virtual Wikimania 2021, WikidataCon 2021 and Wikimedia CEE Online Meeting 2021.
Organizational[edit]
No significant changes were made to organiztional practices.
Social networks[edit]
These social networks were maintained.
