Meetup ,It’s Wikipedia’s 15th birthday This year we’re celebrating 15 years of free and open knowledge—learning, discovery, and joy for people.

In a recent series of Wiki workshops and meet-ups conducted within the city, We are planning to celebrate Wikipedia 15 the Birthday event in Hyderabad. Our celebration events are open to participation by anyone who wants to join in reflecting on our collective accomplishments and goals for the future. As part of the celebrations, we are organizing a meetup with a session on English and other wikis in Hyderabad on Sunday 17th Jan 2016. We expect active Wikipedians, academia, and anyone interested in Wikipedia to participate in the event. In addition, we believe there will be much interest from the Free and Open Source communities and other professionals.

Inviting open-minded individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to join us in organizing this event at Hyderabad, preferably those from Hyderabad who have contributed to Wikipedia in the past.
