Hi @Astinson (WMF): @Astinson (WMF):, the image I provided was just for visual purpose, the code was also shared in the request and I also provided links to images used (uploaded on commons already). Additionally, the alternative is to change the landing page to the Bootcamp metapage and then participants can follow the process to apply on there.

Please if the banner code I shared won't work, we are very okay with a simple banner. Edriiic (talk) 13:54, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree on the use of meta page -- because that allows the participants to first evaluate if they trust the link, and for you to communicate more to them @Edriiic. If sending to a meta page, have you considered using Event_Center/Registration -- or do you need to collect more information from the folks to choose whether or not to accept them? Astinson (WMF) (talk) 12:13, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the Event Center Registration will serve the purpose. There's really no extra information needed, just for the interested participants to make an application, which will be evaluated by a board that will look into the applications. Edriiic (talk) 20:12, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @DerHexer: @Astinson (WMF): I spoke too fast, I don't think the Event Center/Registration will serve the purpose as participants will need to answer a series of question for them to be choosen to attend the bootcamp physically. I have gone ahead to create a meta page Afroyanga Bootcamp/Afroyanga Bootcamp 2.0. So the banner can be pointing to that page and if they decide to apply after reading about the bootcamp they can move on from there. Thanks for your support on this.

Hi @DerHexer: @Johannnes89: @Martin Urbanec: @Vermont: please this is a gentle reminder on this pending request. Your attention to this will be greatly appreciated. Edriiic (talk)
@Edriiic: As said, we cannot use full images as suggest. I have developed a version that could be acceptable. Please check the campaign, banner and preview. As soon as you approve it (please ping me with signature and date: ~~~~), I can enable the campaign. Usually, we require notifications to all local community spaces so that they are aware that a campaign will happen, furthermore we usually need the banner texts and landing page translated into all target languages. Because of the short time frame, we will make an exception here. Please take more time for future applications and have a look at the how-to PDF linked above. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 20:43, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @DerHexerthanks for your feedback. Yes, the banner version developed by you is perfect. I approve it. I have also marked the landing page for translation. Thanks for your support. @DerHexer:Edriiic (talk) 10:31, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I've enabled the campaign. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 10:42, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome! Thank you @DerHexer also your advice to allow for enough time to process a request will be taken into account on the next request. Thank you! @DerHexer: Edriiic (talk) 11:11, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
