Description - Awareness campaign regarding the block of Wikipedia in Turkey

What banner(s) will you use? What will be your landing page?[edit]
Banners - A new banner is being developed that combines the dropdown functionality used in the Australia fair use campaign, with a more subtle footprint more inline with the standard community banner template. The banner will contain two social sharing links with an additional link to the blog.

Of course, we miss Turkey. But in some countries this can be qualified as political activity. And in some countries the politics (government) is very sensitive for this kind of campaigns. I would recommend that we don't activate this campaign in Hungary, because it can have a longtime negative influence on the Wikimedia community there. (Strictly personal view.) - @Trần Nguyễn Minh Huy: It certainly can. I prioritized based on traffic and the short time scale to try and turn this around. However expanding beyond that is certainly possible if there is support from specific communities. Seddon (WMF) (talk) 12:52, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
