Discussion[edit]

@Sahaquiel9102: - Currently I am inclined to decline this request. This is a very niche topic for such a large campaign and not appropriate for central notice. You need to:

  • Consider other outreach methods such as talk page messages, mailing list posts. Partnering with other chapters to tap into their member bases etc.
  • Start discussions on all target language projects.
  • Provide location lists similar to that of Wiki Loves Monuments for a start.
  • Only target countries where you have a list of targets.

Hi Seddon! We do have a list of monuments Commons:Wiki_Loves_ZEOs_2018/Listaro. As you can see, the targets are all over the world (and in some cases even beyond it, in space). Start a discussion in other language projects wouldn't be so effective. We also are seeking for new people not engaged with the movement to invite them join us. That's why I find your options not so good for us. Sahaquiel9102 (talk) 00:51, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! @Seddon (WMF) and Seddon:, is the banner already working? It was approved only for the Esperanto Wikipedia but I did'n see it today. Even accessing via incognito windows. Sahaquiel9102 (talk) 16:15, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Central Notice admin comments[edit]

Approved Approved for eo.wiki only. For other languages, there must be coordination with both the languages communities and local affiliates. Seddon (WMF) (talk) 04:43, 12 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
