The Helpdesk responds to the needs that the actors within the movement request, when it comes to partnerships. If the Helpdesk team does not have the answers, the person who requested the help will be introduced to other experts within the Wikimedia movement.
The Helpdesk is supported by an Expert Committee that guides and prioritizes the work of the Helpdesk.

Many people have requested help to get started to carry out partnerships. This was frequently highlighted during the development of the 2030 strategic recommendations. The Helpdesk will provide that practical help, and lower the barriers for all affiliates within the Wikimedia Movement who want to start working with content partnerships – no matter where they are on the journey.
