Description: Wiki Loves Living Heritage is a wiki initiative that pays tribute to the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. We invite heritage communities, Wikimedia volunteers, safeguarding organizations and authorities around the world to document and share Living Heritage together. The Wiki Loves Living Heritage Bazaar brings together Wikimedia contributors and affiliates with authorities and organizations maintaining intangible cultural heritage inventories to make further activities together. It can also be a roundtable for Wikimedia contributors to identify opportunities the project provides. The format and composition of the Bazaar can change according to the events and circumstances where it is held. Wiki Loves Living Heritage is designed to be a one-off campaign that lasts for one year. At the time of the conference the project will be ending. However, many collaborations are starting, and an event like this can be the forum where it is possible to envision the sustained support for incorporating living heritage to Wikimedia projects.
