Goal[edit]
- en:We ask the grant and support for Wikimedia Foundation for the first time. We`re eager to hold seminars for new Bashkir editors (beginners). We need the great support for project & events promotions in Bashkortostan (Russia) in order to increase the number of participants/members, readers & to improve the materials quality of the noted project. It`s necessary to prepare & distribute the Wikipedia projects in Bashkortostan.

- en:We plan to organize 10 seminars & trainings: five are in UFA & others are in such cities/towns as Sterlitamak, Neftekamsk, Davlekanovo, Baymak, Bolsheustikinskoye. This workshop will be of 2 parts: the first`s introductory lecture, the second`s training due to creation & reduction of Wikipedia articles. Perhaps, there`re will be more activities, additionally participants’` monitoring.
- ru:Мы планируем провести 10 семинаров и тренингов. 5 - в Уфе и 5 - в других городах: Стерлитамак, Нефтекамск, Давлеканово, Баймак, в селе Большеустьикинское. Семинар будет состоять из двух частей. Во-первых - вводная лекция. Во-вторых - тренинг по созданию и редактированию статей Википедии. Возможно, больше мероприятий, контроль количество участников.

Risks[edit]
- Poor record tracking of wikiworkshops (low level of editions due to previous years)
- Solution: we will invite participants to attend workshops with their laptops and create their first articles during this workshop. We will also make sure that all workshops are organised at least by two skilled volunteers (so that they can help more efficiently) and that they`ll collect lists of participants' usernames.
- Uneven distribution of volunteers between regions.
- Solution: Bashkir Wikipedia activists will visit other cities on their own cars. / Активисты башкирского Википедия поедут в другие города на собственном транспорте.
- There will be many interested persons from other towns and villages expansions that were not included in the lists.
