1. What is the overall vision of your organization and how does this proposal contribute to this? How does this proposal connect to past work and learning?

To launch and introduce Wikiquote to Hausa Community and create multiple events that will encourage participation and creating hundreds of quality quotes thereby furnishing them with templates, categories, links, references among others.

2. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important?

This is a general event that will cover all the major Hausa communities, thereby creating awareness about Wikiquote at various local and also organising trainings and workshops on how to add content to Wikiquote as well as organizing contests that will encourage participation. This project will also create an avenue that will encourage editors in volunteering for securing quality work like admins, patrollers on Hausa Wikiquote and related sister projects.

3. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.

The above goals can be achieved through the following objectives:
1. There will be a 2 weeks awareness on Wikiquote both online and offline with specific emphasis on major Hausa Cities of Zaria, Daura, Katsina, Kaduna, Kano and Jigawa.
2. Trainings and workshops will be organized in this cities as well as contests to create quotes
3. New participants will be added to our already existing groups on social media

Activities include; awareness, trainings and workshops as well as editathons.
